Keshav Kandel, also past President of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Australia is the current member of Liberal Party Committee, is a Member of Deakin Federal Election commission. Keshav Kandel is also the founding member of the Victorian Liberal Friends of Nepal. As liberal party member, Keshav Kandel analysis has a heavy weighting towards liberal policies and its benefits to the society. He also pays particular attention to economic affairs which are being handled by the current labor Government.
Indra Adhikari is Australian Labor Party, Thomastown, Branch member since 2021 and currently elected to Education and Youth Affairs policy committee from May 2022 State Conference. Indra Adhikari is also a Senior Manager Business Development and Strategy at Holmes Institute Australia. Indra Adhikari focuses on Labor Migrants friendly policies and the weights in the benefits to the immigrant’s population in Australia. Indra Adhikari also makes us aware of the coming changes proposed under the Labor and its benefits.

Sujan has a diverse background in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy , injury prevention and rehabilitation and has been working in this field in Australia . Sujan Completed his physiotherapist course back in 2017 , came to Australia in 2020 after getting an offer under critical skill migrants Visa. Back in Nepal Sujan had a privilege of working closely with Nepali lead Athletes .Sujan has represented Nepal at the Cricket Association of Nepal and also at the 13th South Asian games as Nepal's physiotherapist. Sujan has worked in team physio setting with Pokhara premier league, A- Division Everest premier league and has done sports rehabilitation . Currently Sujan works for Back in Motion Health Group as a Physiotherapist and his main areas of clinical interest is Lower back pain, neck pain and sporting injuries.

This special podcast is on Nepalese Association of Victoria (NAV) run community Nepali school with the aim to bridge the gap between Nepali school and Nepali parents residing in Victoria by making them aware of the resources available for our children to learn language, literacy, culture through these schools.
Krishna Chalise is a Principal of NAV Baal Chautari, Krishna Ji overseas curriculum and ensures that students at NAV Baal Chautari receive high quality Nepali language education. He is also responsible to ensure compliance including child safety standards are met across 5 NAV run schools in Melbourne.
Sushil Chalise is current Coordinator of NAV Baal Chautari West.  Sushil ji and his team has been providing ongoing support and volunteer work to effectively run a weekly Nepali school for the children aged 5 and above in the west. Sushil ji wears many hats, he is not only   NAV Baal Chautari West Coordinator but also RWC Lifeblood Team Secretary, Royal Westerns Club (2019-2023) Oceania Coordinator, International Nepalese Artists Society (2019-2021) Lifetime Member, Australian Nepalese Multicultural Centre Lifetime Member. Sushil Chalise is the recipient of NAV Excellent Award 2024 in outstanding cultural contribution to Art and Language.
Krishna Chalise and Sushil Chalise talk about the importance of running Nepali school in Australian Setting - what it is, how it works, and the different ways it is being used.
Both Krishan ji and Sushil ji will take turns to provide their perspective on community led Nepali school education, commentary on current issues, including curriculum, learning modalities, models, technology and the volunteer support.

Here comes the rural news and updates from Shepparton by our very own Meena Malla. Meena has called Shepparton home for the last 6 years, Shepparton is a city located on the floodplain of the Goulburn River in northern Victoria, Australia. Shepparton is Approx. 180 KM north-northeast of Melbourne and takes 2 hours to drive from Melbourne to Shepparton. 
 
Meena is a qualified and well-trained microbiologist. Meena is currently serving the nursing home industry with genuine compassion and integrity in Shepparton. In addition to her professional duties, she has represented Nepali voices in Shepparton through various committees as a board member and executive member. Meena has engaged in grass root organisation such as Rotary club, Door bells Migrant women, Wise well women network and has been on front foot when it comes to organising Nepali community focussed activity, Meena is also winner of multiple community awards as a result of her inspiring community leadership.
