Listen to this honest conversation from two very strong women , our guest Rosi Aryal Lees and co-host Hema Gurung as they candidly share about their own experience of miscarriage, and how they have navigated grief during the difficult period. Our guest Rosi Aryal Lees is a Research, Advocacy and Policy Manager at multicultural Centre for Women's Health (MCWH). Rosi is currently doing PHD in ANTHROPOLOGY, working with nepali Women to record their story of migration and ADVOCACY.
Rosi is a mother of two who has experienced miscarriage as she shares her tools, knowledge that may help others in similar situation. The episode also includes facts and discussion on the different phases of pregnancy and miscarriage, support for people who are going through miscarriage, role of society , expected role of partner, how to approach miscarriage with others and much more. We also talk about international students' right to pregnancy-related health care, impacts of miscarriage for those who are not covered by health insurance, supports that are available and also examples of organisations that work closely with miscarriage cases.
