In this episode, we will celebrate the exciting, and joyful experience of bilingual children’s Book author Manisha J Poudyal. Originally from Pokhara, Nepal, Manisha completed her Computer Science study from Swinburne Melbourne and worked in IT for 15 years . Manisha’s journey as children book’s Author started 1.5 years back. Manisha’s first book ‘Forgetful Freddie’ came out on 2022 and second book ‘Bendy-Bendy Road’ published just recently.
Both of her books have been Best Sellers in Amazon in various categories. Manisha is currently working on her third book “One Last Time” which is about war from a kid’s perspective. It is currently in the illustrations phase. In this episode, we talk to Manisha about all aspects of children’s book publishing. We talk about the kid literature market, the end-to-end publication process and what it takes to become a children’s book author. We also talk about working with editors, illustrators and the publishing companies.
